Watercolor Fun

Here are a couple of pieces I did at a workshop in Nashville, TN. Karlyn Holman was the instructor. I never had so much fun and met some really nice people. Karlyn is a great teacher.

This one below is one I did after I got home. It is more of a mixed media as is the giraffe because they are both outlined in black paint.

5x7 matted.

Happy New Year 2014

Happy New Year everyone. Ours started out great. Raked leaves, trimmed roses and other plants. Then I decided I would work in the garage and go through some of our junk and mother's stuff. Well...guess what...clumsy Carol fell on her knee VERY hard. The knee that was fixed in 2000, then down came the knee that is getting fixed in February, then...there's more, slammed my nose against something and took a little chunk of skin of the top of it and then rolled part way over to get my right eyebrow scraped. Needless to say it HURT. Swollen and black and blue and grateful nothing got broken!!!

So how was your day?

I sold one of my fun paintings for a Christmas present. It's called Dancing in the moonlight.

I hope 2014 will be a great year for you. Praying for our troops safety wherever they are and for the families who lost loved ones this past year.
Peace, and Joy.
